Safe Arrival

Published by under Mr McMenamin

The eight hour flight to Kuala Lumpa, the two and a half hour stop over, then the thirteen hour flight to Charles de Gaulle Airport was not enough to dampen the enthusiasm and excitement of the 35 members of the 2010 French Exchange. Although the quality and length of sleep experienced by each person on the journey varied greatly, the thrill of landing in Paris and then spending three weeks immersed in the culture was shared equally by all. Twenty minutes from landing the conversation and laughter started to increase until it hit a high just on touchdown. A quick transition through passport control then a rapid collection of baggage saw the group emerging from customs to be met by a very happy group of French correspondents. Time: 6:30 am. After brief introductions each family dispersed to get to reacquaint themselves after a few months of being apart. What wonderful activities awaited each person today?

Sounds great so far. It must have been exciting to meet up with the families at last, this time on their home turf. Looking forward to hearing what adventures the next few days bring!
