Recently there has been talk about should girls be allowed to work in the construction industry.Quite allot of girls have started to be interested construction. People are saying that girls are to weak and would not be treated like equals because they are girls not strong hairy men that can get down and dirty but sometimes it can be the other way around.
Girls should have the same opportunity as boys because girls can multi task. another thing is that girls can sometimes be more committed to what they are doing. So to get girls into the feel there has been a construction class for girls only were girls are working on there eating area. All the girls are enjoying themselves but Will there enjoyment be over soon?
On the other hand construction sites are dangerous work places.And yes girls can be tough and are strong but when it comes to heavy items it can be harder work for girls to lift them.Another thing is that girls could be harassed and put under pressure.
There are clearly two sides to this issue. I believe that girls can have there say and pick what they want to do because what if girls want to get down and dirty for once and i think they should.

On April 22 in the gulf of Mexico there has been a mager oil spill, people are saying it is the worst yet. The reson for the spill is that the workers were pumping oil up the tube and it came up to fast because of the presure. It is said that 800 thousand littires a day is pumped to the surface.
11 workers died because of the explosion. The fuel company BP is responsible for the spill so it is there responsibility to pay the bills to clean it up. the leak is so large it can be seen from space. they have tried numerous things to control it like burning the oil, poring chemicals on the spill and dropping containers on the spill but none of them have been successful yet. They spill is disaster , bad and a serious threat to wildlife. some fisheries had to be closed because they can not go out with the spill.
There is a threat that the oil will spread to the ocean and there is nothing stopping it. the leak is 1 1/2 k under water with the oil pipe still leaking. Everyone is crossing there fingers that BP will get the leak under control so it dose not spread over the world!

On Monday we said goodbye to out parents and got on the bus to go to wilsons prom When we got there we set up are tents and got settled for the great week ahead.That night we hiked Mt Oberon and when we got to the top we were amazed by the breathtakeing views but that was only the first day.
The next day we went canueing Frankie and i were the stinky boat it was so funny.that night we did Biddys walk with the haunting story behind it i think we were all a little scared.
We woke up the next morning and got ready for surfing it was the best and i loved doing it with all my friends. That afternoon we went to the education centre i made my own fox plaster and we got to touch lots of skulls.
The next day we had boggie bourding it was cold but i don’t think we wanted to get out.That night it started to rain and my tent flooded but luckly it was the last night cause we had to sleep in the caravan. That morning was the last all of us were going to miss wilsons prom it was a great experiance and i wish i could go again. GO WILSONS PROM!
