 In the past, men did all the wood work, building and all the dirty things. Then the wimen did all of the cooking , kniting and cleaning.

You might think that men still doing all the same things, well your wrong, some wimen are doing the opposite.

Constructions sites are dangerous work places. Girls may think that they can handle it but if you think about it girls are not that stong. Some girls are scared that they could be sexuely harased.

I think the message was that bad luck acerse more than you think. The story of Holes was based on Stanleys great, great grandfathers curse and how it all comes together. Stanley was hit by a pair of shoes, Clyde Livingstones shoes, who was a famous baseball player. He was sent to Camp Green Lake Detension Centre because they thought he stoll the shoes.

Stanley and Zero were the main charaters. Camp Green Lake isn`t really like a normal detension centre though. It isn`t really that nice at all.

My faverite character would have to be Zero because he is allways a bit mysterious. He also was the opposite to what everyone thought he was.

One of the main events was when Stanley was hit in the head with the shoes beacause i think thats what started the whole thing. The reason it happened is because zero had really stole the shoes. Stanley ended up with 18 moths in Camp Green Lake.

I think the book was great,understandable and my faverite part was when zero was living in a hole underneath an old boat.

In this btn story it has noted that 26 billion people tuned in during the last touniment from 240 different countries. And half a million people are expected to rock up to South Africa in person to watch it live. All up, that country is expecting to make around 3.3 billion dollars from the event. More eyes watch this event than any other in the whole world!

This oil spill happend April 22nd in the coast of mexico. It all started with a ship that hit the Great Barrier Reef creating fears of an enormous oil spill.It turned out the United States is now being threatend with a disaster thousands of times worse. IT also involves an oil rig and an explosion that killed 11 people.It started with a huge explosion and could finish with the biggest oil spill ever.About 800,000 leters a day is spewing into the ocean.This is extremly bad for the wild life as well.local fisherman have been going broke because of the spill. they have been putting out floates to try and stop it from reashing the shore.The oil rig is owned by a huge company called (BP).

boy overboard is a story of a family of 4, jamal, bibi, mum and dad. They lived in a house in kabul. They wanted to move to australia because the government had found out about there elegal school there mum was running.

I think the author wrote this story to make people think about the people in afganistan living with muck hasher rules than us. Making us think how lucky we are. The book makes me want to cry from reading the end.

I think the book was funny and also sad.It teaches you what its like to be one of the afgans.

MASH is a group of people who work in afghanistan, who help troups and locals that have benn injured in battle.

this has been going on since some of the soldiers have been in school. There job is to fly out and find the hurt soldiers and bring them back to the tents where doctors and nurses are treating them. 98% of the time the soldiers that go in the tent are not coming back out!

The Americans are not the only ones that are treated in the tent, Afghani locals and even enemy fighters are all treated in there to. While there are soldiers risking there lives, there is always the medics there to save them. A massive explosion has hit an army transport vehicle, two soldiers are dead and 3 wounded. M.A.S.H stand for (mobile army surgical hospital).

Our camp to wilsons prom was all set to be a great adventure. Bags packed ready to be packed in the bus. On the bus i sat next to josh purcell. Josh and i played the games abd talked to friends to pass the time.

Half way through the bus drive we had lunch at a park at Leongatha.when we arrived at ther amazing place we learnt how to put tents up. After putting the tents up we all dashed down to tidal river where we had lots of fun.When we got back to the campsite we had dinner.

In the morning we had fitness traning to do,we ran aroud the beach and back to the campsite.After fitness we had breakfast. We walked to squeeky beach and played at the big bolders and in the water. Walking back was easyer than i thought. That night we did bidies walk it wasnt very scary but we had fun.

the next day we did canoing,criket and the edd center. that night we did trivia. It was pritty fun but we got bitten by mossies!

Thursday was a big day we did beach games and surfing. surfing was the best activity. That night we we had lasagna and we did red faces. Red faces was funny and we has a laugh.

it was time for home, everyone was ready and was exited. home awated us!
