Pakistan players Salman Butt, Mohhammad Aamer, Mohammad Asif and Kamrah Akmal have been match fixing. People give them money to bowl a Know bal or drop a catch on like the 1st bowl of the 3rd over so people bet on it but that is illegal because they are betting on something that will definetly happen.

Firstly it is unsportsmanlike, cheating, Illegal and not cricket. Those players may of just lost the match for there team against England. So there is just no point playing the match.

Secondly they shouldn’t be banned for life because they deserve a second chance. But they should be banned for maybe a year or so. Because if you ban them for life then your really banning the team and the players that did nothing wrong.

Thirdly fans will get really mad and they will start fights and some people might shoot the players because it is like a religion to them.

So the players should be banned for maybe a couple of years because it will create riots and fights in Pakistan if they are banned for life.

The story Holes is a good book where one thing leads to another. It starts out a boy named Stanley and he has a pair of sneakers fall on is head. the police find him and they accuse him of stealing. So he needs to go to a Juvenile Detention Centre called Camp Green Lake.

Stanley had to dig holes on a dried up lake in order to find anything that the Warden wanted. He met some boys there and they all had  nicknames like Zero, Zig Zag and X Ray. Stanley’s nickname was Cave Man because he was a bit fat and he also got bullied at school. Zero wasn’t very bright so Stanley made a deal with him and he said ” If you dig part of my hole I will teach you.” So Zero agreed and dug part of Stanley’s hole a day. Mr. Pendanski found out that Zero was digging part of Stanley’s hole. Zero got angry and whacked Mr. pendanski over the head with a shovel and ran away.

Stanley keeps thinking Zero could still be out there. Stanley go’s looking and he found a boat and Zero jumps out of there. Zero was eating something called sploosh and it made his tummy a bit uneasy. Stanley points out a mountain and said “we need to go to the top of the mountain in order to survive. Stanley thinks there could be refugee up there. They go up there and it keeps getting weedier and weedier and they find water and onions.

I really liked the book because it had a past and presents tents.

Magic is fake because scientist have tesed people to see what they look at in a magic trick.  They try to make you look at one hand and not the other and with the other hand they pull somthing out of there pocket without you realizing.

In Las Angelies there are magic tricks evry day to on the streets to on the stage. scientist wanted to ask some magisions about there techniques to take back to there lab and see how our brain and our eyes interact.

they hooked someone up and asked them to watch the trick normally. they then had a look where her eyes went and she wasn’t looking at where he hid the shoe or something like that.

In the Gulf Of Mexico an oil rig has exploded. It appears that 11 people have died. It was digging down about 1 thousand kilometers deep when it exploded. The pressure of the oil caused the explosion resulting in this massive spill.

Scientist think it could be the worst envirowmental catastrophie ever. Having 8 thousand litres of oil flow out in the ocean a day.

Now to clean it up they have been burning the oil. They are also thinking about huge metal containers so they could so they could put over the oil so it can be safeky pumped back to surface.

The slick can be seen from space and if it hits land it could have a devastating effect. i think BP should be forced to clean it upand also pay for all the damage that has been caused

.

The main characters in the story are Jamal and Bibi. They both lived in Afganistan. But they wanted to move to Australia with there mum and dad.  But they ended up at christmas island. they wanted to go to Australia because the goverment wanted to kill them because they were running an ileagaI school.

I think the author wrote this story because this is happening right now and I think he also felt sorry for the people. I learned how hard it would be to live like this and have to run away from the govermnt all your lives.

I would recomend this book because you could learn alot and what people have to go through very singl day of their lives.

India Sport

The Australian sport stars like the Australian cricket team have been weighing up whether to go to India to play cricket.  Because the security hasn’t been the best over there.

Some of our athletes are nervous. They’re nervous because their safety. The teams going are the Kookarburras (hocky) and the Australian cricket team.Pacemen Bert Cockly is glad he didn’t get picked for the Australian team. the cricketers say they will only go if security go’s well in the Comonwealth Games.

Why don’t they want to go? Because  there have been alot of terrorist attaks in India lately. In November 2008 ther were attacks at hotels and popular tourist reastraunts in Mumbai. 175 people died including 2 Australians.

India want’s to hold a sucsesful Comonwealth Games so in the near  future  they could hold the Olimpic Games. India is doing ther best to keep athletes safe. there promising huge security measurs for the Comonwelth Games.

Our trip to Wilsons Prom was hopefully going to be a good one. there were ninety nine of us looking forward to the camp hoping it will be one to remember.

But first we had to put the tents upand i found that a little bit chalenging . All the the food was really goodbecause i thought it was just going to be slop.some of my fauvrite activities were surfing and our hike up to Mt. Oberon.

The surfing was awesame .  I stood up on 5 waves an caught 22. The walk up to Mt. Oberon was really hard but but when we up to the top it was worth it.The view was amazing because we were above the clouds.

We did so many fun activities in just a few days. That preute much sums up our one in a life time oppitunity to go to Wilsons Prom.
